NEUWERK takes responsibility. We see ourselves as a member of society and take this responsibility seriously. This means that we speak out on social issues that matter to us, such as climate action, environmental protection, and the protection of human rights. We also support projects in these areas.

Fridays for Future
We support the aims of the Fridays for Future movement and regularly take part in demonstrations in Hamburg. We show our support with our “Respect for Fridays for Future” banner set up on our balcony high up above the Gänsemarkt.
Viva con Agua
In 2021, we took part in Viva con Agua’s “Water is a human right” campaign by having our pictures taken to show support for Viva con Agua's message that access to clean water and sanitation is a human right and raising awareness that a large proportion of the world’s population still does not have secure access to clean drinking water.
Pro-bono work
We also take responsibility with our pro bono commitments and make our contribution to the promotion of ideas for a fairer and more livable world. Click here to see some of our individual projects.
